HIP-HOP

Hip Hop courses are divided into different age groups, this style belongs to the generation of those dances that were considered as such only at a later time, when Hip Hop was born it was a dance exclusively considered for the street:

It was only with the passage of time that, thanks to its continuous expansion, it began to make space for itself also among academic level dances and, furthermore, among Hip Hop dance schools a little later.

Today this kind of street dance is considered worldwide as an absolutely high-level dance, academically recognized and consecrated among the most complete and complex styles that exist in the performing arts.

We offer courses for children and teenagers in elementary, middle and high school; adults (divided into beginner and intermediate/advanced levels). All divided by age and level. There is also a Hip Hop baby course available for ages 3 and up.

The BABY HIP HOP 1 (3/4 years) and 2 (5/6 years) courses are the most natural introduction to hip hop. Children begin to explore the elements of the dance part of this culture; their creativity and imagination are stimulated through play; they are led towards a knowledge/awareness of their own body and space by sensitizing them to listening to music and developing basic motor skills (also in relation to other children) that will allow them to express themselves through movement.

Starting from 7, more and more elements are gradually introduced (technical, foundation, musical and creative) that combined with some hints on Hip Hop culture allow to deepen the study both through the choreographic aspect and in freestyle. The creative development continues to be stimulated and valued, thus allowing everyone to express their identity through movement.

MODERN & CONTEMPORARY

It is a type of dance derived from the fusion of classical, contemporary, modern dance and cultural elements, which works on "isolation", that is, on the attempt to make the movements of each part of the body independent from everything else.

The influence of styles means that this dance is in continuous evolution towards free forms of interpretation, now more marked and rich in "strong" and impactful sounds, now romantic, emotional and passionate "lyrical"

The modern dance course is characterized by large, very expressive movements, made of rhythm and counter-rhythm with an alternation of tensions and relaxations, falls and rises.

The course aims to provide students with a solid technical foundation, without neglecting interpretative quality and adequate preparation for possible auditions in both the theatre and television fields.

The lesson consists of an in-depth warm-up, the study of technical exercises proportionate to the level of the course, stretching, diagonals/combinations of steps and finally the choreography, technique and interpretation.

CLASSICAL DANCE

Classical dance can make the body strong and elegant at the same time.

Classical technique is considered the basis of training for all types of dance. A precise teaching technique will train dancers capable of achieving high results.

In the classical dance training program of Indance Studio, students begin with the preparatory program that welcomes children of 4 and 5 years old. It continues around 6/7 years with the first grade, continuing with the subsequent grades, up to the professional levels.

The center offers the opportunity to study classical dance both as an amateur and as a professional, following a training path composed of academic disciplines.

BREAK DANCE

Break dancing was born in the late 60s ('68-'69) in the heart of New York City.
The first bboys (break beat boys) would literally throw themselves on the ground trying to break the rhythm with increasingly complicated acrobatics, and whoever did the newest and most daring “move” automatically became the king of the party.
After some time, all of this comes under the watchful eye of the media and break dancing turns into a real cultural movement.
Today this is present in every corner of the world creating a community that shares steps and solid principles that can be important tools for growth.
After 50 years, break dancing is constantly evolving, the pioneers created the first steps taking inspiration from the dances of the American Indians, capoeria, artistic gymnastics and much more.
Today, after having passed through cultures all over the world, break dance has hundreds of basic steps and just as many steps invented by the individual that serve to express one's person and one's style.
